With their three daughters across the street, Matt & Lauren Accurso we're about to welcome baby Matthew into their family--the first boy.
In a moment, tragedy struck. Lauren collapsed during delivery. She was quickly transported to the hospital, but had already passed. Doctors delivered baby Matthew but was rushed to the NICU, as he be gone without oxygen longer than normal.
In the midst of this unthinkable chaos, Matt sensed the Holy Spirit's presence throughout the hospital. Through the heartache, there was an unmistakable Hope.
As he was surrounded and supported by friends, family, and his church, Matt saw hospital staff come to or return to their faith.
Just 17 days after his birth, baby Matthew was greeted by his mother in heaven as he passed from this life into eternity.
Today, Matt and his three daughters live in the Hope that odd only found in Jesus Christ.
